Friday, November 30, the York One-Act team took First Place in the District Competition, and will advance on to State. The team competed against Schuyler, Fillmore Central, Columbus Lakeview, Central City, David City, Seward, and Aurora.
The Top three places went to Fillmore Central (3rd), David City (2nd), and York (1st). The York team took straights 1's and will advance on to Kearney where they will compete against the other 5 Class B One-Act teams.
The Class B State Competition will held at the Merryman Performing Arts Theatre located 225 W. 22nd St., in Kearney, NE, on Friday, December 7th.
The first Play will begin at 10 a.m. and York will perform at 1 p.m. York's competitors are Alliance, Wayne, Omaha Concordia, Milford, and Gothenburg.
