Summer Offerings

Here in beautiful York, Nebraska we are fortunate to have many outstanding activities to keep kids busy and engaged over the summer. Just within York Public Schools, we are offering a week of "Summer Learning Academies" June 11-15, we have our Boost and All-Stars programs running from June 4-July 13, and we have several students attending enrichment courses at Bright Lights in Lincoln in June and July. Not to mention the free lunch program that runs in the Legion Building from 11:30-12:30 Monday through Friday through the end of June. Within the community, it is great to see kids involved with swim team, softball, baseball, Children's Theater, Wessels Farm activities, the public library, the community center camps; and don't forget all the sports camps put on by York High School coaches and teams! Keep those kids active and engaged this summer. Yes, they need time to lay around and "just be kids" too but they also need to remain involved in meaningful activities. Have a great summer! Go Dukes!
