Class of 2013 - preparation begins now

If you just finished your high school junior year and you're considering college upon 12th grade graduation, we encourage you to take the June ACT test, especially if you are planning to finance some of your education with scholarships. ACT scores from tests taken in the junior year are used for the Regents scholarship competition. A SEPTEMBER test date has been added to the Nebraska schedule, so seniors have three chances (September, October and December) to better their scores for scholarships and college entrance requirements. UNL, UNK, and UNO require a score of 20 on the ACT. Many scholarships have very early deadlines (example: Horatio-Alger is Oct. 31), so taking those earlier tests ensures scores will be available when needed. Start planning for your future now!
